Our commitment
People and community come before the piece rate
More than 2,000 people work on our floors, and Scandex Group treats their welfare as part of the order, not separate from it.
Fair wages, a safe workplace and an open grievance line come first. Beyond the factory gate, the group carries out its community and social commitments through the Mumtaz Uddin Foundation — health camps, festival support and welfare programmes for workers' families and the neighbourhoods our units operate in.
Where it applies
Six commitments we hold across every unit
People & Fair Labour
Freedom of association, a documented grievance mechanism and zero tolerance for child or forced labour, across every unit in the group.
Health & Safety
Fire and structural safety audited to RSC Bangladesh standards, trained fire marshals on every floor and an on-site medical team.
Environment
Effluent treated before discharge and chemical management aligned to buyers' restricted-substance lists, with energy use we work to cut every year.
Ethical Compliance
SEDEX, BSCI, Fair Wear Foundation and OEKO-TEX audits — documented and open to your compliance team before an order is placed.
Community
Through the Mumtaz Uddin Foundation, the group runs health camps and welfare support for workers' families and the neighbourhoods around our units.
Skills & Development
On-the-job training, safety drills and refresher courses, so operators grow inside the group instead of leaving it.
In practice

Team & culture
Cricket Tournament 2026
The people who make the product, off the clock.
Scandex (BD) Ltd backs more than the production line — it backs the people on it.
Our 2026 inter-team cricket tournament brought squads from across the group together for a full day of play, with management on the field to hand the champions their trophies and medals. Sport, recreation and shared time off the floor are part of how we look after the workforce that stands behind every order.
