Our story
Scandex Group began its journey in 1999 as a 100% export-oriented sweater manufacturing company. In 2008, the group entered the knitwear sector by establishing its first knit composite manufacturing facility in Kaliakoir, Gazipur.
Since then, Scandex has diversified across ready-made garment manufacturing, textile processing, filling stations and real estate. Today the group operates a vertically integrated manufacturing platform specialising in promotional garments, T-shirts, polos, sweats, hoodies and other knit apparel.
Under the leadership of Mr. Md. Farid Patwary, the group has employed more than 4,000 people at its peak in the RMG sector. Today Scandex employs more than 2,000 people and continues its journey toward becoming one of Bangladesh's leading promotional garment exporters.

A 100% export-oriented sweater factory opens in Narayanganj EPZ.
Scandex re-establishes itself as a business group with expertise in T-shirts, polos, sweats and hoodies.
The knit composite platform is strengthened through the integration of Mane Clothing and Mane Washing.
Manufacturing infrastructure expands to 14 tons/day knitting and 13 tons/day dyeing capacity.
